Diluowei Yi Ask is a local-first reflection app. Anonymous questions, selected numbers, hexagrams, and interpretations remain on your device. Email verification is optional.
Service and account data
The web service processes an installation identifier, timezone, usage date, reading-session status, referral relationships, and credit ledger entries. If you verify an email, we store the normalized address and verification time. We do not use passwords.
Saved reading history
After email verification, you may sync saved history across devices. This can include the question, selected numbers, hexagrams, moving line, time information, and interpretation. Anonymous reading content is not uploaded.
Analytics and logs
Standard request metadata may appear temporarily in security and access logs. Privacy-focused aggregate analytics help us understand visits and reliability. We do not send questions or reading results as analytics events and do not use analytics for advertising or cross-site profiling.
Sharing
A shared reading places its content in the URL fragment after the # symbol. Fragments are not sent to our server, but anyone with the complete link can view and forward the reading.
How data is used
We use service data to authenticate installations or accounts, send requested verification codes, restore credits and history, enforce usage, operate referrals, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and protect the service. We do not sell personal data.
Storage and retention
Browser storage keeps the anonymous token and local history. Clearing site data can remove unsynced information. We retain service records only as reasonably necessary for operation, security, disputes, and legal duties.
Providers and security
Hosting, analytics, and transactional-email providers process data only as needed to provide and secure the service. We use HTTPS, access controls, and hashed tokens and codes, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Yi Ask is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

To request access or deletion, or to ask a privacy question, email support@diluowei.com from your verified address when possible. We may update this policy and will publish a revised effective date.
