The Yi Ask method

Yi Ask is a private, local-first reflection tool inspired by Meihua Yishu and the I Ching. It turns one question, two selected trigrams, and the current China branch-hour into a structured symbolic reading.

The method helps you frame a decision and notice your response. It does not predict the future or replace evidence or professional advice.

What the reading contains

Your first Stop selects the upper trigram and your second selects the lower trigram. Together they form one of the 64 hexagrams. The current China branch-hour determines a moving line; changing that line creates the changed hexagram.

Why time is included

Meihua Yishu works with numbers, time, and observed circumstances. Yi Ask uses Asia/Shanghai time as a consistent reference so the same calculation rules apply wherever you are.

How to read the result

Read the primary hexagram as the main pattern and the changed hexagram as movement. Use the action and caution as prompts, then compare them with facts, values, and the people affected.

A responsible boundary

A reading is symbolic reflection, not prophecy, certainty, diagnosis, or professional advice. For high-stakes decisions, use qualified support.
